How We Got Started

25 years ago while looking for a way to make income without being gone from my children I began breeding Yorkshire Terrier puppies. I loved caring for the sweet little dogs and the people who wanted them.
Fast forward to 2020 I am 69 years old and the puppies are too labor intensive for me to keep up with, so decided to become a exotic short hair cat breeder. It has been a wonderful change. No bathing, no barking no problems.
I am very happy to have had the experience in dealing with tiny little animals and so happy to have chosen to be a Exotic Shorthair Cat breeder as they are just the sweetest and most loving cat on earth. If you are looking to buy a kitten from an breeder exotic short hair kittens ours are adorable and well adjusted.
We are on the outskirts of Houston Texas in Porter, Texas and if you are close we love when people come and visit the kittens with just a call we can set up a convenient time. However if you can not come to Porter and find a little kitten that you want for your family we can arrange shipping with our pet nanny. The kitten would be hand delivered to the airport close to you and you would go to that airport and pick up your kitten. In the case of the pet nanny the kitty rides in cabin with the pet nanny, not in cargo.
Our cats roam free in my home and the kittens play all day freely but at night go to their own kitty apartment that is fully equipped with food, water, bed and little litter pan. This helps when they change homes as the new family can easily set up a similar kitty apartment and at night put their baby kitten in there so everyone can get some rest until morning. I am happy to send pictures of the kitty apartment when requested.
